Once again, it’s time for RAW! Lets get right to it!
Raw starts with a tribute to Bruno Sammartino. A legend lost. 10 bell salute with the entire RAW and apparently 205 Live Roster. Its odd to watch your heroes die. There is something surreal about it.
Brock Lesnar comes down to the ring with his advocate, Paul Heyman. He goes to introduce his client but the crowd boos him. He continues and chuckles at the crowd, mocking them. He cuts a very Paul Heyman promo, making me more of a fan of him and Brock Lesnar. My little wrestling soul hates myself for saying that but I cant deny the truth. Paul talks about his match at the Greatest Royal Rumble. Roman Reigns makes his way down the ramp. The crowd is mixed on Roman but atleast it’s not all boos right? Brock and Roman stand face to face in what seems to be a monthly happening. Roman says he’s coming home with the title. Roman backs away slowly and leaves the ring. Cut and Paste promos from each month gets reaaaal old.
Elias is seen backstage before his match with Bobby Roode.
In the ring, Elias is going to sing up a song but Robert Roode interrupts right away.
Bobby Roode vs Elias:
Elias does not look impressed with Bobby Roodes entrance. They lock up with Elias putting Bobby in a head lock right away. The begin a small exchange with Bobby coming out on top and chopping Elias in the corner. Bobby jumped off the second rope and looked like he tweaked his knee. I paused for a second just to see if he was okay and it appears so. Elias gains the upperhand after throwing a potato and clocking Elias. (not a real potato) Roode takes back control and knocks Elias out of the ring. We get a commercial right as things started to pick up. Back from commercial and Robert is still holding on to control. Elias turns it around, throwing Bobby into the ring post. Elias immediately works Bobby over. This match is starting to bore me but luckly, as I typed this, Bobby started to make a good comeback, drawing me back in. He hits a Top Rope closthesline and goes for the Glorious DDT but Elias blocks it. Then Roode hits a Blockbuster but Elias rolls out of the ring. Roode throws him back in the ring but Elias pulls him into the top rope then gets the quick roll up on Bobby Roode.
Broken…I mean Woken Matt is on the screen. He talks about his match at GRR for the Raw Tag Titles. Bray Wyatt shows up and also talks about the match.
Ascension vs Bray Wyatt/Matt Hardy
Matt and Viktor start things off. Its fun just to watch Matt and Wyatt interact. They are the centerpiece of this match clearly. Hopefully this revitalizes both Bray and Matt. Connor and Viktor get a good double team on Matt but he makes his comeback rather quickly and gets the tag to Bray. Wyatt uses his size and speed to destroy all of them. Matt tags in and hits a Side effect on Viktor. Connor comes out of nowhere and hits Matt, Bray answers with a nasty Sister Abigail then a double team on Viktor for the win.
Winner: The Deletor of Worlds
Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens comes down to the ring for the Sami and Kevin show. The introduce everyone to the show, they aren’t sure if itll be weekly but it is what it is. They talk about the Miz leaving Raw for Smackdown. They will fill the void for him! They’ll also win the Greatest Royal Rumble! They introduce Kurt Angle as their first guest. They give him a beach chair to sit on. Uncle Kurt sits because he needs to rest his feet. They chastise Kurt about last week and make fun of him, then go on to talk about the “toxic work environment” on Smackdown Live. They continue on, with Sami busting out the glasses and make fun of Jason Jordon. Sami hits a zinger about Kurt forgetting about Jason Jordon being his kid. Kurt, in a few words, says he’ll take care of them at the GRR annnnd tonight they’ll face Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman.
Seth Rollins is backstage with Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas. They try to team up with Seth but he isn’t feeling it. He gives them a hard no and walks away.
Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler vs Titus World Wide
Dolph and Titus start things off. Titus comes out with a vengeance, still pissed about last week. Apollo gets the tag and clubs Ziggler. He hits a standing moonsault but Ziggler kicks. McIntyre tags in and kicks the hell out of Apollo Crews. Drew dominates then hits a crazy Alabama Slam on Apollo. McIntyre and Ziggler hit the Claymore into Zig Zag combo and get the win.
Winners: Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler
Charlie is out in the ring and interviews the winners. Drew calls out everyone in the lockeroom. He says he’s the wakeup call the WWE needs. Dolph says they are the show and the pair leaves the ring. Huuuuuge McIntyre fan. Uncle Kurt is backstage watching on TV. Chad Gable comes up and thanks him for having him here. Jinder interrupts and gives Kurt a piece of his mind. He says he wants to go back to Smackdown after he wins his US title. Gable says Jinder should watch his mouth. Jinder thinks he is the great tag team champion, Nicholas…or Mini Me. Uncle Kurt has had enough of these damn kids on his lawn and says they’re going to setting this in the ring….RIGHT NOW! Annnnd we go to commercial.
Jinder Mahal vs. Chad Gable:
Jinder attacks Chad before the match starts. Eventually they get into the ring and get things started. Jinder takes control right off the bat and then we go to commercial. And we’re back with Jinder still in control. Jinder is hitting some good stomps to a stunned Chad Gable but Gable makes a small comeback that is quickly stopped. Mahal is showing his strength and ring savvy In this match. This match is all Jinder. He goes for the rope stomps but Gable gets a boot up and starts his comeback, working on Jinder’s legs. Jinder hits a running knee on Gable that was just ridiculous. Gable gets a surprise roll up win over Mahal. Im actually a little shocked.
Winner: Chad Gable
Backstage is the sweet Renee Young, there to interview the Riott Squad. They talk about stuff and things. Their debut, their match tonight.
Samoa Joe backstage Phone Promo! Joe can be on every show calling out anyone and id sit with full attention.
Axel and Dallas are backstage with Finn Balor. He was all smiles, like usual, as they try to convince him to take them under his wing. Finn doesn’t think that’s too sweet.
Kevin and Sami are backstage looking extra sad about their impending doom.
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs. Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman
Sami and Kevin start the match by rolling out of the ring. They run from Lashley and Strowman, putting distance between them until Braun catches up and murders them both. Bobby Lashley runs through KO, pounding him into the ground. KO gets a good block in then gets the tag on Sami. Sami works of Lashley in the corner, hitting a big chop and catching a kick to the stomach for his troubles. Sami ends up hitting a boot in the corner and is back in control. Lashley blocks a double team attempt and takes it to Sami. Back from commercial and Sami is still in control of Lashley. As I say that Sami gets launched into space by Lashley. Bobby cant quite make the tag to Strowman due to KO with the save. Sami tags in again and Lashley muscles over to Braun but Braun was pulled off the apron by KO. Braun is pissed. Lashley makes the tag and Braun actually kills Owens outside. Inside the ring he kills Sami. Then KO. Then Sami again. Then a dropkick to KO on the outside. Holy hell. Strowman heads back in and Sami runs. Bobby Lashley catches him and takes him back. Sami gets more murder in the ring. Bobby tags in and hits a crazy vertical suplex on Sami. Braun is tagged back in to put the nail in the coffin. Running Powerslam!
Winners: Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman
No way Jose makes his way out to the ring for a match…or maybe a dance party.
No Way Jose vs. Baron Corbin
Baron has a mic. He thinks it’s a set up with all those conga dancers out there. He refuses to fight and walks away. Jose grabs a mic and says the party doesn’t have to stop! Lots of dancing goes on. Baron comes out from the back and clobbers Jose.
Alexa Bliss cuts a promo on Nia and how much of a bully Nia is.
Finn Balor and Seth Rollins vs Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas
Axel and Balor start things off. Curtis takes control then mocks Finn to which Finn takes exception to. Balor always seems to be beat down at the start of most of his match. Rollins gets the tag in and runs wild on Axel and Dallas. After Seth came in things with fast and loose with Finn getting the win via Coup De Gras
Winners: Finn Balor and Seth Rollins
Natalia, Ember moon, Nia Jax, Sasha, and Bayley are backstage before the 40 women tag match.

Ronda destroyed Mickie in 5 seconds. They've built her strong, lets see her against one of the best.
That's about all we have for tonight folks. Raw was Meh at best. Id give it 2.5 Ric Flair Chops out of 5. My wife also was not very interested, except when Finn was on screen. She loves him. Anyways, check out more wonderful content on the site, follow me on twitter @buuurch1, and as always, take care!
