ANNNNNND here we go!

Elimination Chamber 2018 Predictions!
I'll preface this with a little note: The opinions put forth in this article are just that, opinions and not necessarily those shared by any of the other writes here on WrestlingwithWrestling.com or with some of the IWC….or my dog, she’s very opinionated on wrestling as well.

Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson vs. The Revival (Kickoff Show)

Honestly, I had no idea this was going to be on the show at all until I looked at the final card on Saturday. This storyline is flat and it’s a shame because both teams are fantastic in the ring and on the mic. The Revival hasn’t had any favors done by being in this feud. It’s sad but it is what it is. They can put on a great match and hopefully they’ll get the time on the preshow. Since I’m a Good Brother 4 Life ill take Gallows and Anderson for the win. I wouldn’t mind being wrong but I won’t hold my breath.

Raw Tag Team Championship -- The Bar (c) vs. Titus Worldwide

While Titus Worldwide has a few wins over The Bar in recent weeks, it is a little odd to see them thrown into title contention. Apollo deserves all the time on TV he can get and I’d love to see this match go for 10-15 minutes, with Apollo going off and showing what he’s made of. That being said, seeing as how the Bar just won the titles back, it’s safe to say that the Bar will retain.

Matt Hardy vs. Bray Wyatt

Another feud that is running a little flat but has good potential. Broken/Woken Matt needs a win here if we want to see this gimmick take off. Personally, this could be a good time for a surprise Jeff Hardy return. Bray could be taking it to Matt pretty hard, getting a DQ or something to that effect. He beats him down until finally the lights go out. All the sudden you hear Jeff start to sing “Fade away and classify myself as obsolete!”. The crowd goes nuts and sings along. We hear it again. In the ring, Bray is looking around for the nefarious Brother Nero. Matt starts laughing maniacally. The lights come on and Jeff is standing on the ramp, still singing and walking towards the ring. I’ll just leave it there and let your imagination fill in what happens next. This could be a good opportunity for some life to be thrown into this feud and give both men, Matt and Bray, a new direction to take a dwindling feud with the addition of Brother Nero. So to wrap things up, Broken/Woken Matt Hardy will get some form of victory, hopefully as described above, but I doubt it. Either way, he needs the win.

Asuka vs. Nia Jax

I'm glad Nia Jax is on the card, I'm extremely disappointed that she is not in the Elimination Chamber Match. The stipulation to this match, her addition to the Wrestlemania Raw Women’s Title match if she wins, is odd to say the least. As cool as it would be to have her going for the title at Mania, Asuka’s streak wont be beaten at the Elimination Chamber. It makes little sense. Ideally, Jax will push Asuka to the limit, making the match seem a little more exciting when Asuka comes back and wins over someone who’s twice her size. Asuka will pick up the win, keeping the streak alive and going to WrestleMania to fight whoever *cough Charlotte* she’s going to fight.

Ronda Rousey signs her Raw contract

Expect some shenanigans with Stephanie McMahon and ol’ Triple H. Hopefully we’ll get a more clear sense of what her Mania plans will be, maybe her tag partner. Word round the campfire is that it could be someone like Braun Strowman tagging with Rousey. Another option could be Finn Balor since he doesn’t really have much to do come Wrestlemania time. Braun would make more sense considering he has unfinished business with Triple H.

Women's Championship -- Elimination Chamber -- Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Sasha Banks vs. Bayley vs. Mickie James vs. Mandy Rose vs. Sonya Deville

Historic! First of its kind! So on and so forth. Either way, I am excited for this match. Each of these women bring something special to the table. Despite the absence of Nia Jax, this match has the possibilities to steal the show if done right. I’d mark the hardest at a Sasha Banks heel turn on Bayley and Alexa capitalizing on that. The women’s title picture going in to Mania is a little hazy at this point but best case scenario would be the aforementioned heel turn but with Sasha, Bayley and Alexa being the final 3. Bayley could get bamboozled by Sasha, then Alexa gets a quick roll up for the win. This could put Sasha and Bayley in the feud that we all want and add in the possibility of winning the Raw Women’s title on top of that. Alexa gets the win.

Men's Elimination Chamber -- John Cena vs. Braun Strowman vs. Elias vs. Roman Reigns vs. The Miz vs. Finn Balor vs. Seth Rollins

Who will lay claim to the throne? Who will take that brass ring and go on to Wrestlemania to take on the Beast? My heart, especially after his performance on Raw the other night in the Gauntlet match, says that Seth Rollins should win and go on to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 34. My heart has led me astray a million times before and I feel like it will this time too…and here’s why. We all know Roman Reigns is the chosen one. There is no denying that. While I’ve warmed up to him over the last year, it still hurts my heart to see a match with this lineup being all for not. Seth will have a good showing, as he usually does, Braun will be taken down by Miz (hopefully), and Elias will probably end up beating Finn Balor for no reason at all. The big question mark is John Cena. With rumors of the Undertaker swirling around John, its hard to see how the match will play out for him. If we do see Taker, it will probably be on Raw the following night. Overall, expect Strowman to throw people around and we should have some very cringe-worthy moments when people hit the metal grating outside the actual ring. Roman Reigns will ultimately get the win and go on to face Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 34, to which I will be there, probably drunk, yelling at everyone.

That’s all we’ve got for tonight. Check back tomorrow for the Elimination Chamber review on WrestlingwithWrestling.com, follow me on the Twitter machine @buuurch1, and as always, Take care!
