Following Monday nights dismal raw reading which was just slightly over 2 million viewers,
The ratings for WWE Smackdown trended downward for the second week in a row.
Tuesday’s episode brought in a 0.69 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 2.095 million viewers.
Those numbers are down 4% each from last week’s 0.72 demo rating and 2.193 million viewers. The rating was the worst since the July 10th episode did a 0.68, while the audience was the lowest since July 3rd’s 2.013 million.
Smackdown ranked #2 among cable originals for the night per Showbuzz Daily.
The top spot went to ESPN’s broadcast of the National Leaque wild card game, which nailed down a 2.09 demo rating and 6.332 million viewers.
