Hello Wrestling With Wrestling brethren! Its time once again for the not so often Post-Smackdown Smackdown review! I missed Smackdown Live due to our local cable company wanting to switch to all digital programing and not sending my damn box in time. Still don't have it but due to the wonders of the internet I was able to watch bits and pieces of it at work today (Shhh don't tell my boss) Anyways, here we gooooo
Major highlights from Smackdown this week:
-Randy Orton cut one of the better promos ive heard from him in a while.
-Andrade "Cien" Almas def. Rusev - Lana and Zelina started to brawl, Aiden English tried to make the save but ended up knocking Lana down, hopefully knocking some sense into her but I seriously doubt it.
-Samoa Joe def. a returning R-Truth
-Asuka def Billie Kay with a old fashioned kick to the head. The plight of what to do with Asuka continues.
-Jimmy James Ellsworth gets canned by Paige after talking shit. AJ Styles says he'll fight anyone but Samoa Joe decides to be a fantastic heel and attack Uncle Alan. Joe vs. Styles at SummerSlam is happening.
-Becky Lynch def. Carmella after Carmella basically ran the match, nullifying the reason for Ellsworth being there to help her win against Asuka :(
-New Day def. Sanity in a good tag match. Hopefully Sanity has something to do at SummerSlam
-Miz and Bryan continue the hostilities, Miz promotes his show, and there is a baby thrown.
Oh and the Bar is back!
Abbreviated Smackdown highlights, Crisp, clean, with minimal cursing. Also, there is more mention of the WWE Evolution PPV coming in....whenever, I don't remember the date. But its happening.
