Tuesday’s favorite son has returned once again to give you a Smackdown! Review….in just a few pages. We have lots of things to cover this week so lets go!

Daniel Bryan kicks off Smackdown Live to a thunderous applause. Bryan lets the crowd cheer for him a little more before we get things started. He welcomes everyone to Smackdown and welcomes back Shane McMahon! He’s looking good considering the surgery he just had last week. That’s a man right there. Shane welcomes everyone then says he wants to correct Daniel. He says Daniel is a role model and that he fought to get back here in this ring. He congratulates Bryan on getting back to the ring. The crowd chants Yes! Shane is excited to tag with him at Mania, Shane goes over his own struggles the past few weeks but says he’s been medically cleared as well! Daniel says theres one thing he needs to address as a man and as the general manager. He says he’s made a lot of mistakes with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. He tells Shane he is sorry about how he handled that situation. Shane says its okay and he’s done some reflection himself. He says there’s really only one way to resolve differences between partners and opens his arm for a hug. The crowd pops. Shane says he’s sorry again and goes to shake hands but Daniel wants that hug! Shane says he’s not much of a hugger and the crowd boos. He finally relents and they hug in the ring. Nashville cheers! Shane says theyre on the same page now with a little sarcasm. Daniel say them being on the same page is bad news and Kevin/Sami are going down. Shane pumps up the match and says they’ll never see Kevin and Sami at Smackdown Live again. Daniel asks Nashville if they want to see Sami and Kevin get the holy hell beat out of them at Wrestlemania and the crowd chants YES!
Charlotte comes out!

Charlotte vs Natalya

After the required commercial….Charlotte is in control. They have a quick lock up and Nattie gets her to the ground and in an ankle lock. They both recover, lock up again, then Charlotte goes for a quick pin attempt. Nattie kicks, then the two battle again. Both women circle around the ring before locking up again. Charlotte gets the advantage and goes for a pin. Natalya gains control with a foot stomp but Charlotte comes back and goes for a pin. Nattie kicks and Charlotte continues to work her over. Charlotte is looking strong during this match, adding to her stock for Wrestlemania. There is a lot of back and forth but things are looking more in favor of Charlotte. The fight goes outside and Nattie throws charlotte into the ring post. Commercial time! On the tiny screen Natalya rolls Charlotte back in the ring and puts her into a sleeper. Natalya stands up to gloat while Charlotte is out on the mat. Nattie keeps control the most commercial break, with Charlotte getting in a quick reverse but the fight ends up outside the ring again and Natalya back in control. In the ring and back from commercial, Charlotte gains control and has Nattie in an abdominal stretch. Natalya gets out and throws Charlotte in the corner. Charlotte flips over the ropes and kicks Nattie. She goes to the top rope but Natalya throws her off. Charlotte ends up in control again with some chops and cracking Natalya in the face with a boot. They have a good back and forth before Charlotte drops Nattie again, goes for a backflip off the top rope. Then all the sudden CARMELLA comes out to cash in Money in the Bank! Again, she cant get it cashed in and Charlotte whoops on her for a second. Nattie tries for a sneak pin but Charlotte reverses to a Figure 8 for the win

Winner: Charlotte

Then out comes Asuka for a staredown! Charlotte collects herself and her belt and waits for Asuka to finish her awkward striptease. Asuka says Charlotte will bow down to the queen cause no one is ready for….Charlotte takes the mic and says shes ready, then she asks if Asuka is ready. They stare for a minute then Charlotte leaves.

Video package with AJ Styles about his match with Shinsuke!

Daniel Bryan/Shane McMahon/Kevin Owens/Sami Zayn video package!

The GLORIOUS Bobby Roode makes his way to commentary for the Jinder Mahal and Rusev match.

Sunil Singh sings a song to introduce Jinder Mahal. My ears are bleeding. Aiden is out next to introduce the savior of Smackdown Live, Rusev!

Jinder Mahal vs Rusev

The two titans lock up in the middle of the ring. Jinder pushes Rusev to the corner. They show Randy Orton back in the back looking at a fake tv. Back in the ring, Rusev powers out and tries for the Accolade but Jinder rolls away. Commercial time… annnd we’re back. Jinder is in control. He hits a big knee and goes for the pin but Rusev kicks out. Jinder works over Rusev. The crowd is getting behind Rusev as he tries to rally back. Jinder has been in control a majority of this match but the crowd is more interested in Rusev. Speaking of Rusev, he hits a wicked knee and takes down Jinder. Rusev sets up for the Machka kick but Sunil gets on the ring apron. Sunil catches the kick instead. Jinder goes to roll up Rusev, Rusev gets out of it and hits the Machka kick on him for the win.

Winner: Rusev

THEN OUT OF ****ING NOWHERE COMES RANDY ORTON! Aiden English takes Orton out then gets on the top rope. Roode comes from commentary and pushed English off. Aiden gets a RKO for his troubles. Bobby and Randy stare each other down in the ring. The crowd chants Rusev Day instead.

Shinsuke Nakamura backstage interview!

8 man tag match!

Zach Ryder/Fashion Police/Tye Dillenger vs Ziggler/Baron Corbin/Mojo Rawley/Primo

This match started randomly so by the time I wrote the names it was almost over. Each person got a minute or so to have a little spot and the match ended by everyone throwing each other out of the ring (Andre the Giant Battle Royal style) and Baron Corbin gets the pin on Fandango.

Winner: Baron Corbin and the Heels

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn randomly show up and take over the show. They say it is still the Sami and Kevin Show! They said they saw the apology session but they aren’t apologizing to him. They apologize to Brie and Birdie. They mock them. They call him out specifically saying it their dream to fight him.

Shane and Daniel are backstage watching.

Kevin and Sami continue on, now calling out Shane McMahon. They rant and rave before their mics turn off. Sami and Kevin leave through the crowd but stop as Shane’s music hits. Shane and Daniel walk out and tell them to stop. Daniel tells everyone to take apicture because it’s the last time they’ll see Kevin and Sami on Smackdown. Shane gets everyone singing Goodbye to Kevin and Sami. Excellent segment that didn’t have to run for 15 minutes to be good.

Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin vs AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura

Shinsuke and Gable start us out. They trade holds in the middle of the ring. Chad is excellent on the ground. Shinsuke takes back control then walks over and tags in AJ by patting him on his head. AJ is naturally pissed. Gable and Benjamin attack them both. Shinsuke gets beat outside the ring and Styles gets it in the ring. Back from commercial and Uncle Alan hits Gable with a lovely kick to the dome. He tags in Shinsuke and Shinsuke runs wild on American Alpha 2.0. Nakamura sets Benjamin up for corner knees but a hot tag and some shenanigans sees Shinsuke on the ground with Gable going for the pin. Shinsuke kicks but ends up in a hold by Gable. Shinsuke breaks it, hits a few flurries, but gets a beautiful arching suplex by Gable. Benjamin is in working over Shinsuke. Shinsuke gets a quick strike and both men are laid out in the ring. AJ wants back in as Shinsuke crawls towards him. Tag! AJ comes in and wrecks everyone. Gable takes a nasty Phenomenal Forearm and pins Gable

Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles

AJ leaves the ring as Shinsuke is talking trash to him but Shinsuke gets hit from behind but beats down his attackers. AJ ran up to the ring apron, jumps of the rope looking for a Phenomenal Forearm but stops just short, like Shinsuke did last week. He smiles at a defensive Shinsuke, then pats him on the head and leaves. Perfect ending to that match and to Smackdown.
