Smackdown Live time!

Renee Young starts us out, introducing Daniel Bryan! He and Renee talk about his accomplishments while the crowd chants his name. Bryan gets the crowd hyped! He talks about his lost to Rusev last week. Bryan says being back isn’t enough, he wants to be on top! He will be the WWE Champion before everything is said and done. Big Cass comes out, unfortunately, to put us to sleep. Cass pokes at Daniel, saying he knows the truth about him. Cass says he will make sure he never achieves anything here in the WWE again. He said he didn’t tap because he was in pain, he tapped because he wanted to get up and beat him down. Cass calls Daniel a loser and continues on for a while then gets in the ring. Daniel Bryan proceeds to beat the hell out of him, attacking Cass’s knee. Refs finally come down to stop the madness but Bryan gets in more shots on his knee. Back in the ring, Daniel puts Cass in a heel hook and Big Cass taps out immediately. Cass is destroyed. Let him stay off TV for a while and try something new later.

Next to the ring is the Miz! Not sure why because directly behind him is the New Day, pancakes and all! Miz is on commentary by the way. Out to the ring after New Day is the Bar.

New Day vs. The Bar:

Xavier and Cesaro start things out. Woods kicks Sheamus right off the bat and then takes Cesaro out as well. He flies over the ropes, attacks Sheamus again, then goes back for Cesaro. Cesaro ends up catching Woods by his hair and the tides turn. Woods gets beat down by both superstar annnd we go to commercial. Back from commercial and Woods is still getting clobbered. Cesaro is in how, taking it to Xavier. Woods gets a moment to breath after he launches Cesaro out of the ring. Woods tags in Big E and Big E runs wild. He goes for a big splash but Sheamus gets knees up. Sheamus charges him but E slams him down to the mat. Cesaro and Sheamus hit a double DDT but Big E kicks out at 2. Cesaro has E in a sharpshooter. Woods goes for the save but Sheamus grabs him. Woods sends Sheamus into the post then breaks up the Sharpshooter. Xavier tags in and hits a crazy DDT on Cesaro, but he kicks. E and Sheamus start brawling while Woods recovers. Woods hits a Elbow drop from half way across the Effing ring and gets the win!

Winner by jumping realllllly far: The New Day

Bludgeon Brothers are backstage looking creepy as hell. The cut a promo about….something.

Paige here! I mean backstage, with Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. She says Mandy didn’t qualify for MITB, but they can tonight…in a triple threat against Becky Lynch!

Next backstage segment is Renee Young with Uncle Alan! He’s facing Shinsuke tonight and Renee asks what he will pick for his stipulation if he wins tonight. They joke around a little bit and AJ, in a nutshell, says he’ll win with a forearm to face.

Andrade Cien Almas finally debuts

Andrade Cien Almas vs. Random Londoner:

El Idolo for pretty much the entire time. It’s a squash match folks. It is what it is. Andrade has the perfect look and just oozes swagger. He hits a Hammerlock DDT and gets the win.

Winner in less than 2 minutes: Andrade “Cien” Almas

Good start bubba. Zelina Vega cuts a promo on how pathetic Smackdown Live is. They’re taking over!

Backstage is a Rusev Day Segment! Lana randomly shows up as well. She lost her accent all the sudden and its baaaack. Fun MITB promo. Lana faces Billie Kay next week to qualify for MITB.

Mellabration is on now. If anything important happens I’ll let you know. My eyes have rolled so far back into my head that I can see my brain dying from this. Paige comes out at one point and says Asuka is the next challenger for Carmella’s title at Money in the Bank.

Renee Young is backstage with Shinsuke. Hopefully he speaks English today. He does! MITB/match tonight promo.

Becky Lynch vs. Sonya Deville vs. Mandy Rose:

Becky takes on both girls right away, tossing Mandy out of the ring. She works on Sonya but the number turn out to be too much for her. The crowd cheers for Becky. Mandy goes for a quick roll up on Sonya but she kicks out. Commercial time. We’re back and Sonya is still in control but Becky gains the upperhand with a beautiful Becksploder. Mandy, who’d be outside the ring for a while, comes in, takes out Sonya, and tries to take out Becky. Mandy hits some sort of face slam thing that looked awesome. Becky kicks then Sonya comes back. Theme of this match is beat up Becky. Its Sonya’s turn again. Mandy comes in and has Sonya on her Shoulders. Becky jumps off the top rope and drop kicks them both. Becky goes for the Disarmher but Sonya breaks it up. Sonya looks the best in this match. So strong. After a misdirected kick and some clunky exchanges, Becky gets the Disarmher on Mandy and the win.

Winner by hurty arm move: Becky Lynch

Phone Promo with Samoa Joe. He calls out Big Cass.

Phone promo with the IIconics.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. AJ Styles

Shinsuke and AJ trade holds from the beginning and everything seems evenly matched. They both have an answer for each others moves. AJ hits a huge drop kick and Shinsuke goes flying. AJ tries to suplex but is blocked. AJ hits a big backbreaker on Shinsuke, slowing down Nakamura a little bit. Shinsuke rolls out of the ring and AJ hits a flying Phenomenal Forearm down to the floor. AJ runs and tries for a sliding knee but Shinsuke stops it with a big kick. Back from commercial and Shinsuke is still whooping on AJ. Shinsuke hits a huge running kick directly in AJ’s face. Its madness. Shinsuke has AJ in a Dragon Sleeper, the agony is showing but AJ tries to power his way out. Shinsuke tightens the hold, yelling at the ref to ask him if he gives up. AJ knees him in the face. That’s your answer Shinsuke! Nakamura fires back quickly and puts AJ on the top rope. Shinsuke goes for some sort of move but AJ slides underneath and hits a Pele kick on Shinsuke. Both men unload on each other but AJ gets the upperhand and starts firing up. They have a beautiful exchange with many missed finishers ending in some sort of Fishermans slam or something along those lines. This is a fantastic match and a hell of a way to finish Smackdown. Nakamura goes for another set of kicks but AJ blocks, goes to the top rope to fly and gets kicked off. Shinsuke hits the big knee in the corner and has AJ on the apron. Nakamura tries to set up for a suplex to the floor, AJ reverses and hits a suplex but Nak lands on the apron. They have another insane exchange and things end up back in the ring. Many near falls and missed finishers. Shinsuke hits a Kinshasa and it looks like its over but AJ kicks. Shinsuke is frustrated and goes for another but AJ hits a heel kick. Styles goes for a Phenomenal Forearm but Shinsuke dodges and hits the ref. Shinsuke fakes a low blow, tricks AJ, hits a Kinshasa and gets the victory!

Winner by tricking the referee and mighty kicks: Shinsuke Nakamura

Shinsuke gets to choose the stipulation for his title match at Money in the Bank….next week!
