Today was the day that The XFL held a press conference in New Jersey, where the XFL would be announcing #XFLhostcities and #XFLvenues for the re-launch of the #XFL in 2020.
The governor of New Jersey kicked off the official announcement introducing Vince McMahon.
The Founder & WWE Chairman who announced That The XFL returns on February 8th and 9th of 2020,
It is very interesting that the XFL return season will take place exactly one week after Super Bowl LIII.
The following host cities were officially confirmed:
#XFLEastRutherford, NJ (MetLife Stadium)
#XFLArlington, TX (Globe Life Park)
#XFLHouston, TX (TDECU Stadium)
#XFLLosAngeles, CA (Stubhub Center)
#XFLStLouis, MO (The Dome at America’s Center)
#XFLSeattle, WA (CenturyLink Field)
#XFLTampa, FL (Raymond James Stadium)
#XFLWashington, D.C. (Audi Field)
This is definitely a big gamble by Vince McMahon, yet a very exciting time for the man with a track record of success in the sports and entertainment industry. The XFL may have not worked out the first time. But Vince McMahon will not F this up the second time. Especially when you factor in all of the political issues surrounding the NFL.
