Hideo Itami asked for his release this week. The word going around backstage is that he will be granted his release but there will be a 90-day no compete clause.

Injuries derailed him for much of his time in NXT but his main roster move was to 205 Live and they haven’t done a lot with him creatively.


Anyone hearing this news automatically assumes that Hideo Itami Will instantly head back to Japan? However! 

Don't count out AEW or even Impact Wrestling as possible destinations for the departing WWE NXT Superstar, following his 90-day non-compete Clause duration...
