YO-HEY has dyed his hair a vibrant purple. He said he overslept this morning and had to run to the hair salon.
Akitoshi Saito (who has also had new merchandise released, which is very rare for him, and I can't think even of when it was in the past), was on autograph duty today. After the trauma of the accident which caused Misawa's death, Saito (understandably) very much went into his shell and Noah kept him away from people, but now he is ready to take his part in things again, and it is a wonderful thing to see.
YO-HEY & Minoru Tanaka came out to sign autographs during the intermission.
Japan has suffered a terrible earthquake up in Hokkaido. Although no-one from Noah (to my knowledge) was born up there (aside from the late Mitsuharu Misawa that is), Naomichi Marufuji has family who live there, but they seem to be okay. About seventeen people have been killed.
There was a rainbow over the venue today.
Yoshinari Ogawa & Masao Inoue vs Hitoshi Kumano & Yoshiki Inamura
Young rookie Yoshiki Inamura put up a "spirited fight" today as he took his place on the Noah roster after his debut against Hitoshi Kumano. Naomichi Marufuji has said that the other trainee, Kimiya Okada, will debut soon, but Noah have made no announcement so far.
WINNER: Masao Inoue with the Boston Crab on Yoshiki Inamura (8 minutes and 59 seconds)

YO-HEY vs Junta Miyawaki
Nothing really much to say about this match except that YO-HEY had a big grin on his face, and it is hoped that Junta Miyawaki will pick up his first win in the league (he is determined to show everyone that he will).
WINNER: YO-HEY with the Gamen G (8 minutes and 2 seconds)
Go Shiozaki, Atsushi Kotoge, Kaito Kiyomiya & Tadasuke vs The Hooligans (Maybach Taniguchi, Mitsuya Nagai, KAZMA SAKAMOTO & Cody Hall)
"Today's four on four is versus "The Hooligans", an out of control group...but, the revolutionary man is here"
"The Revolutionary Man" managed to get beat up by Mitsuya Nagai today as the brawl went outside the ring the moment the bell went...and he was still wearing his cape (which I believe Go Shiozaki may have thrown at their opponents or at him).
Mitsuya Nagai was up to his old tricks as he choked Kaito Kiyomiya with a chair.
Despite their heel tactics, The Hooligans were said to be a cohesive unit and worked well together.
The new haircut trend is spreading, as Maybach Taniguchi appears to have ditched the Guile from StreetFighter look, and had his hair cut into a Mohawk. Go Shiozaki gave him a loud chopping, which was said to sound like gunshots.
The match was fun, intense and held the crowd. After it, Mitsuya Nagai got on the microphone and said he took no pleasure in fighting his opponents today as none of them had belts. It looks like that it will be either The Hooligans or 50 Funky Powers who will challenge the champions (whoever they may be).
WINNER: KAZMA SAKAMOTO with the clutch on Tadasuke (13 minutes and 30 seconds)
50 Funky Powers (Mohammed Yone & Quiet Storm) vs SPECIAL4 (Minoru Tanaka and Hi6)
50 Funky Powers had a disco ball effect added to their entry today.
Yes. A disco ball!!
Not really much to say about this match, except that afterwards Quiet Storm addressed the crowd (I am afraid I don't know what he said).
WINNER: Quiet Storm with the 50cm lariat on Minoru Tanaka (10 minutes and 34 seconds)
Takashi Sugiura, Naomichi Marufuji & Akitoshi Saito vs The Aggression (Katsuhiko Nakajima & Masa Kitamiya) & Kenoh
"Kenoh and Marufuji is too intense! Osaka tomorrow is going to be awesome!"
Naomichi Marufuji did the Kawada kicks on Kenoh, but naturally this only irritated him, and Kenoh provoked him afterwards (you can imagine the language).
Takashi Sugiura and Katsuhiko Nakajima faced off in the first of their pre-matches, Nakajima laughing, Sugiura later got revenge with a HUGE drop from the turnbuckle.
Atsushi Saito held Masa Kitamiya up for the longest time in the brainbuster (not bad for a man of 53 on a man who weighs 227 lb).
After winning the match, Kenoh got on the microphone; "Naomichi Marufuji! 20 year wrestler Naomichi Marufuji! You will have no celebration with me! I will take that belt from you tomorrow, get ready asshole!"
Then as Akitoshi Saito laid sprawled on the floor, and Kaito Kiyomiya (looking as ever incredibly polite as he doesn't know how to have an attitude problem yet) got into the ring to join Kenoh in squaring up to Marufuji, on the outside Nakajima did his "worship me" pose. Speaking of Katsuhiko Nakajima today.....
WINNER: Kenoh with the diving footstomp on Akitoshi Saito (18 minutes and 11 seconds)

HAYATA vs Ikuto Hideki
No reports on this match
WINNER: Ikuto Hideki with the Iwami Ginzan (11 minutes and 11 seconds)

Daisuke Harada vs Hajime Ohara
I think when it comes to the juniors, the main eventers of the group would be Daisuke Harada and Hajime Ohara as both appear to be the leaders. A match between Ohara and Harada tend to be very psychological and very technical.
To signify that he is entering as a singles competitor (and therefore in opposition to his partner, Hitoshi Kumano), Hajime Ohara entered to his own music.
Said to be an excellent and intense match (its just a shame that Noah have no streaming service), both pulled out things they had not done for a long while, plus a Death Valley driver from Harada while fighting on the apron.
Audience were on edge of their seats, especially when Ohara locked in the Muy Bien.
After the match a somewhat out of breath (and excited) Daisuke Harada got on the microphone and addressed the audience. He said that the audience expects a lot from the Noah juniors, and the match today, was one he will show in person to Kotaro Suzuki.
WINNER: Daisuke Harada with the Katayama German Suplex (No time given)
On the 9th September Noah will be in Osaka; Naomichi Marufuji and Akitoshi Saito will defend against Kenoh and Kaito Kiyomiya, with the big RATELS showdown....
With thanks to Abeshin, Chiharu, Taichi, Susu, Minoru Tanaka, Noah GHC, Tadasuke
