Noah wrapped up their three day in a row tour in Kanazawa, now there is a break of about seven or eight days until they celebrate the final night of "Spring Navigation 2019" at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo on Friday March 29th. After a week on the road, three days straight of wrestling, and long bus journeys (and a week in Osaka), Noah were glad to return home at the end of it.
Today's show teased what we can expect from this years Global Tag League, and of course the future story-lines in Noah.
Katsuhiko Nakajima was on autograph duty today.
Masao Inoue vs Kinya Okada
Masao Inoue was his usual bumbling self, but today he showed a streak of paranoia by thinking that the ref was somehow out to screw him over, by complaining that the count was too slow.
WINNER: Masao Inoue with the Boston Crab in Kinya Okada (9 minutes and 1 second)
Takashi Sugiura & NOSAWA Rongai vs Masa Kitamiya & Yoshiki Inamura
Intense match with Sugiura and Kitamiya crashing into each other hard.
Kitamiya has really taken Inamura under his wing, and was shouting encouragement to him throughout the match
WINNER: Masa Kitamiya with the submission on NOSAWA (10 minutes and 10 seconds)
50 Funky Powers (Mohammed Yone & Quiet Storm) vs Akitoshi Saito & Maybach Taniguchi
Maybach Taniguchi doesn't seem as if he is going to be rehabilitated from his "Monster" persona any time soon and (complete with grunting noises), he bought his "stick" (as Quiet Storm called his Sasumata) and used it to choke Yone, and they also got into a fight in the crowd.
The "The Saturday Night Fever" pose only halted him momentarily.
However, the team of Saito and Taniguchi didn't last, as after knocking each other down they turned on each other, and got stung with the Funky Buster Bomb. Afterwards, the team departed the hall, doing the old threatening points at each other.
WINNER: Mohammed Yone with the Funky Buster Bomb on Maybach Taniguchi (11 minutes and 32 seconds)
Stinger (Yoshinari Ogawa, Kotaro Suzuki & YO-HEY) vs Hi69, Minoru Tanaka & Junta Miyawaki
YO-HEY hasn't really forgiven Junta Miyawaki for saying he was going to show YO-HEY "peron" (word doesn't translate well, but it basically means in very rough form, to roll something), and so the poor boy got tortured not only by YO-HEY, but also Yoshinari Ogawa too.
An old lady in the crowd expressed concern for poor Junta, and YO-HEY (true to his new heel persona), agreed with her in his usual demonic charm filled way.
Junta said to be getting better and better.
Fingers crossed his first win isn't too far off.
After the match, Stinger got beat down by Minoru Tanaka and Hi69.
WINNER: YO-HEY with the Face G on Junta Miyawaki (20 minutes and 35 seconds)
Naomichi Marufuji & Hajime Ohara vs Daisuke Harada & Tadasuke
It was also noted that Marufuji and Ohara were wearing very similar colors.
WINNER: Naomichi Marufuji with the Perfect Key Lock on Tadasuke (15 minutes and 24 seconds)
Kaito Kiyomiya, Kenoh & HAYATA vs Katsuhiko Nakajima, Go Shiozaki & Hitoshi Kumano
A lot of fan clamor for Hitoshi Kumano to challenge for the singles title.
The kicks between Nakajima and Kenoh were described as "sounding very painful". Kaito Kiyomiya says that he is stimulated by watching Kenoh in the ring with the "fighting spirit" springing to life quickly.
Kiyomiya and Shiozaki stared at each other (Shiozaki from the ring apron, and Kiyomiya in the ring hugging the belt).
When AXIZ had finally gone, the team of Kenoh & Kiyomiya declared AXIZ to be a "wanted" tag team.
WINNER: Kaito Kiyomiya with the Tiger Suplex on Hitoshi Kumano (15 minutes and 57 seconds)
