Carried away with Pro Wrestling Noah.
The enthusiasm, cheering and intensity of the venue is the best!
This is the current Noah!"
Much to the delight of the local people, Noah returned today to Fukushima.
The venue today was a theater with the ring being on a raised stage accessed via two small staircases either side, the wrestlers entered from doors above the audience, and walked down the steps towards the ring (and in the case of AXIZ and Kaito Kiyomiya, leaving brown, black and white feathers).
Daisuke Harada celebrates his 33rd birthday today, with fellow Osaka native, Atsushi Kotoge being on autograph duty.
Quiet Storm vs Kinya Okada
Although he is an Osaka native, and not from the area, Kinya Okada was very popular in the venue today with a lot of cheers and applause from the audience.
WINNER: Quiet Storm with the 50cm arm lariat (6 minutes, 46 seconds)
Hi69 vs Junta Miyawaki
Junta Miyawaki got his first tag win over Hi69, sadly he did not get his first singles win (although a picture taken did imply that Miyawaki had caught him in the face somewhat stiffly).
WINNER: Hi69 with the Stuka Splash (8 minutes, 17 seconds)
Mohammed Yone & Minoru Tanaka vs The Return of The Dark Agents (Akitoshi Saito & Masao Inoue)
Fun match, with Minoru Tanaka striking a disco pose at the end (he also put on Mohammed Yone's funky flashing glasses)
WINNER: Mohammed Yone with the Kin Meat Buster on Masao Inoue (10 minutes, 39 seconds)
STINGER (Yoshinari Ogawa, Kotaro Suzuki, Atsushi Kotoge) vs RATELS (Daisuke Harada, Tadasuke, YO-HEY, HAYATA)
RATELS all came out wearing shades and leather jackets. No. I'm not kidding. They also all lined up and held up their belts (except for YO-HEY, who doesn't have one and had to raise his arm instead). Naturally, there was a lot of fan excitement over this.
Said to be an amazing match, which ended with everyone outside the ring (aside from Ogawa and YO-HEY), and Daisuke Harada protesting the win.
Fans full of praise for Ridgeway today.
WINNER: Yoshinari Ogawa beat YO-HEY with a roll up cradle (15 minutes, 23 seconds.)
KUMAXIZ (Katsuhiko Nakajima, Go Shiozaki & Hitoshi Kumano) vs The Sugiura Army (Takashi Sugiura, El Hijo de Dr Wagner Jnr, Hajime Ohara)
The crows walked down the stairs shedding brown and black feathers. No pre-match for them today as neither Fujita or Suzuki were with Noah for this event.
Hajime Ohara stole Katsuhiko Nakajima's rope pose (and did it on Nakajima), with Go Shiozaki waving to the crowd and motioning "no pictures".
Katsuhiko Nakajima soon got his revenge and did it back to him.
WINNER: El Hijo de Dr Wagner Jnr with the moonsault on Hitoshi Kumano (16 minutes, 40 seconds)
Kaito Kiyomiya, Naomichi Marufuji, Shuhei Taniguchi vs Kongoh (Kenoh, Masa Kitamiya, Yoshiki Inamura)
Naomichi Marufuji decided to try and shake Kenoh's hand (trying to wind him up, or else he feels left out now that Kenoh's rage is directed at Kiyoshi Tamura), but Kenoh glared and kicked out at him.
WINNER: Kaito Kiyomiya with the Tiger Suplex on Yoshiki Inamura (19 minutes, 6 seconds)
As per tradition, Kaito Kiyomiya addressed the crowd speaking of returning as GHC Heavyweight champion following his Global League 2018 win last year.
