With IMPACT Wrestling being without the IMPACT Wrestling World Champion Tessa Blanchard Again! Andre Corbeil Of WrestlingWithWrestling.Com Asks Impact Wrestling Fans The Important Question! If Tessa Blanchard Should Be Stripped Of The Impact Wrestling World Title? In This Impact WrestlingLivestream . Tessa Blanchard, the first-ever woman to capture a globally-recognized world championship in pro wrestling, has been unable to attend IMPACT Wrestling Jun 2nd 2020 events because of current travel issues due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Before everything shut down, Blanchard was supposed to defend her championship at Terminal 5 in New York City against Eddie Edwards and Michael Elgin at IMPACT Wrestling Rebellion in April. When things began to shut down, and it was revealed that IMPACT Wrestling 06/02/20 would be continuing on with closed set tapings in front of no audience in Nashville, Tennessee, Tessa was already in Mexico, where she lives, and was unable to travel. Now, a new report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider says that this will be a continuing issue and that Tessa Blanchard was not at the most recent set of tapings for IMPACT Wrestling TV. To make up for her absence on television, Moose has revived the old TNA World Championship and has been using that Championship on weekly television. Although the championship is unrecognized, Moose has defended it on television. In addition to that, a tournament to name the top contender to Tessa Blanchard’s recognized championship has been ongoing and will reach its conclusion this coming Tuesday on AXS TV. A third-generation professional wrestler, Blanchard is the daughter of Four Horsemen member Tully Blanchard. In Impact Wrestling, she is the current Impact wrestling World Champion in her first reign as well as the first woman to win the title.
